McConnell's Irish Whisky
Original artwork used for designs across McConnell's wall murals, POS displays, and whisky bottle packaging.
McConnell’s commissioned me to create an illustration of the old Crumlin Road Gaol in Belfast, where their new distillery is located. They wanted a specific line drawing style reminiscent of an old belfast newspaper illustration used on their 20-year-old Cromac Collection bottle, to mark the opening of their new distillery.
My illustration of the Crumlin Road Gaol was used and adapted for a large mural inside the new distillery; professionally scanned and installed with a graphic overlay. I collaborated with McConnell’s graphic designers and team on this project. Since then, the artwork has been licensed for use on various products and point-of-sale systems, including at Belfast International Airport, on gift bags, and on their whisky bottle gift box sets.
